In 2022, Bruichladdich aimed to elevate awareness of their whisky range within the Japanese market. They envisioned a launch event tailored to their target demographic, coupled with effective PR to broadcast their brand narrative nationally.

SOLUTION

A 10-day whisky festival was conceived in Tokyo's Roppongi Hills, designed to meet Bruichladdich's objectives through an original, educational, and engaging experience. A bespoke venue was created to host a variety of compelling activities, from expert-led tastings to performances by notable talents, ensuring the festival would not only draw significant attendance but also spark widespread interest on social media and in traditional media outlets.

RESULT

The festival surpassed expectations, drawing an audience of over 10,000+ and achieving a social media reach exceeding 200,000+. The success was largely attributed to strategic influencer collaborations, appearances by industry stalwarts, and a diverse range of pop-up events that highlighted Bruichladdich's extensive whisky selection. This event has significantly bolstered Bruichladdich's market presence and consumer base in Japan.
