Budweiser was in the business of communicating its core values to a new generation of customers who would one day become their main consumers. We helped achieve Budweiser’s vision by cross-pollinating fashion, entertainment and music in a series of unique, successful events.

OPPORTUNITY

Universally regarded as "The King of Beers”, Budweiser wanted to shift their focus within the local market to target a new generation of consumers as well as opinion leaders. The brand intended to reconnect with an exclusive group of buyers that embodied their core values. 

SOLUTION

As part of the #BudsUp Campaign, a series of exclusive events were hosted with highly sought after DJs throughout various secret locations in Tokyo. Influencers from the fashion and entertainment industry were casted and invited to participate in these unique evenings courtesy of Budweiser.

RESULT

A huge buzz was generated across social media platforms with the #BudsUp campaign producing over 500 tweets per event. The PR spread was carried by 8 major news websites. The culmination of this exposure resulted in an immediate ROI with a tangible spike in Budweiser sales throughout Japan.
